I painted these two wooden canvases that I hire my Father Bob (Papa) Cerins to create. I give Papa the dimensions and he builds them. The 3-dimensional painting in the lower half of this image is a wooden Cajon drum. Two of the four sides of this drum are for creating music and two sides of the drum are created for strength. There is a round hole in one side of the drum for the rhythm to flow from. These paintings were created as a diptych for an entry into the Canada Council Art Bank http://www.artbank.ca/.
My father and I love to cooperate of projects.
Papa is an amazing wood worker and friend.
